In recent years, the Italian school and out-of-school educational agencies have been able to include many pupils with disabilities. The experiences since the 1970s have been decisive and have enabled many pupils with disabilities to achieve important personal goals. However, pupils with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) still cause anxiety.
When teachers and educators are informed of the presence of a pupil with this disorder, they need important and in-depth expertise, taking into account strict educational pillars of reference.
The Master’s course aims to offer people already in possession of specific professional training these skills, necessary for the construction and management of educational and didactic projects aimed at enhancing the cognitive, emotional and relational abilities of people with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
The Master’s course is organised in close collaboration with the Centre for the Study of Disability and Marginalisation (CeDisMa) of the Catholic University and employs lecturers and conductors with extensive professional and specialist experience in the field of the disorder.
The Master will give great importance to direct experiences, carried out in the schools where the students are employed, or at other schools or institutions of the educational system, and during working hours, with certification of the activities by the School Headmaster or the educational coordinator.
